Sanctuary Spa is doing their part! We are taking donations for the victims of Hurricane Irene in Schoharie County, NY. FEMA has declared this area a major disaster.
Tropical Storm Irene put a $1 billion whipping on New York, most of it upstate where heavy rains spawned flash floods that shredded roads, washed out bridges and knocked buildings from their foundations, Gov. Andrew Cuomo said Wednesday. The storm caused $45 million in damage to farms, authorities said, and as of Wednesday morning, about 329,000 customers were still without power statewide.
Here at Sanctuary Spa we are proud to be New Yorkers. Our beloved, Samantha (esthetician) is from Schoharie county and truly has been devastated by the demise of the beautiful place she grew up in.
We will take whatever you can spare: clothes, canned food, paper products. All donations are graciously accepted and with gratitude we will distribute them to people in need.
